How we keep your site within the rules

SIA LICENSING

Most contract security roles need a Security Industry Authority licence. We check every officer holds the right one — and verify it on the SIA register — before their first shift.

SCREENING & VETTING

Right-to-work, identity and employment history checks for everyone we deploy. [Confirm: screened to BS 7858.]

DOGS UNDER CONTROL

The Guard Dogs Act 1975 requires a guard dog to be under a handler’s control. Our dogs always work with their own handler and are secured when the handler isn’t beside them.

ANIMAL WELFARE

Suitable vehicles and kennelling for travel and rest, fresh water on every shift, and handlers who know their dogs well.

HEALTH & SAFETY

Risk assessments for every site, officers who follow your inductions and site rules, and the right PPE and first aid kit on every shift.

RECORDS & REPORTING

A log for every shift, hourly photo check-calls, and a written report for every incident — what was checked, what was found and what we did.

DATA & CCTV

Site plans, access codes, logs and footage are used only to run your contract and handled in line with UK GDPR. [Add ICO registration number.]

INSURANCE

Public liability [£X], employer’s liability [£X] and professional indemnity [£X]. Certificates available on request.

SafeContractor Approved by Alcumus: our health and safety policies, risk assessments and insurance are independently assessed, so you can approve us as a contractor with confidence.

PROVISION OF LABOUR

COP 119

A COP 119 Certified Company, the security industry code of practice for the provision of labour. It audits how we vet, train, license and manage every officer we supply or subcontract.

ISO 9001

Our quality management system is certified to ISO 9001 by Aligned Certification Ltd, a UKAS-accredited certification body, so every contract is planned, delivered and reviewed to an audited standard.

ASSOCIATE COMPANY MEMBER

NASDU

We are an Associate Company Member of the National Association of Security Dog Users. Our dog teams work to NASDU standards for control, handling and animal welfare.

DATA PROTECTION

Officers and shifts are managed through GuardHouse — rostering, live check-ins and incident records — so every shift leaves a clear audit trail.

Questions about compliance

Do all your officers hold SIA licences?

Yes, for every role that needs one. We check the licence type and verify it on the SIA register before deployment, and track expiry dates.

Is a dog ever left on site without a handler?

No. Our dogs always work with their handler and are secured in suitable kennelling or a vehicle when not working.

What records will we receive?

Hourly photo check-calls, a shift log, and written incident reports. We can send them daily, weekly or as they happen.

Who can see our site information and footage?

Only the people managing and covering your contract. See our privacy and data policies.
